Dumble Farm is hosting Sip, Paint & Mini Moo Meet & Greet. craft classes over the summer, where our guests cannot only meet Highland cows, but take home their very own painting, inspired by our furry friends. 

The events will begin with a Mini Moo meet and greet; with the opportunity to feed, brush and stroke the young Highlands. Highlands love attention; so there will be plenty of time for you to give them lots of fuss, they would be disappointed if you didn’t. Then head to the photo booth, that will provide you with the chance to have a picture taken with one of the cute little fluffies, Highlands are such posers! 

Ticket price will include a drink of your choice; wine, beer, coffee, tea or a cold beverage, plus savoury nibbles to go alongside.

The Dumble Farm ‘Boozy Coo Bar’ will be open for you to purchase more drinks, all locally produced of course.

Then onto the main event; your Highland Cow Painting

For our first craft classes, Dumble Farm is delighted to be welcoming Louise, from The Scribble Shed, to host a Highland Cow painting class. Louise is an experienced art teacher and will lead our guests, step by step, in creating a beautiful watercolour painting of a Highland cow, like the one pictured here. Louise’s classes are very popular and we are certain our guests will love what she can help them to produce. 

The cows will be alongside in the shed, to provide constant inspiration, plus likely the odd encouraging moo. 

The whole event is expected to last around two and a half hours. But at Dumble Farm, we work on Highland time, it’s all very relaxed, so we of course invite guests to stay and chat, or take a short walk to see many of our other Highland cows.
