Not your average farm...

Dumble Farm in East Yorkshire is run by three farmers with a passion for conservation and sustainable farming. Everything we do is designed to create the best habitat to protect wildlife and support declining species such as our fold of magnificent Highland cows.

It may seem strange that grazing cows is a good thing, but the cattle are integral to creating the right conditions to support other wildlife and plants. Read more about our projects on the conservation page.

“Had the most amazing time! The guys are the farm are genuinely some of the most amazing people I’ve met, so full of knowledge and you can tell they love what they do and how much they care for all the animals! Had the most amazing morning and got to see the highland cows and pamper them, to feeding goats and cuddling cows! Overall the most perfect morning! Thankyou so much guys!.”

How you can help to protect wildlife

One of the ways we fund our conservation projects is by offering sponsorship packages. Sponsoring a cow makes a unique gift for any Highland cow fan. Not only will you receive your initial sponsorship package, containing various gifts depending on your level of sponsorship. You will get access to your cow’s unique Moobook page which you can access at anytime, to stay up to date with all the latest news on your new fluffy friend. The  sponsorship page also has information on the conservation project, so you know you are playing your part to support our wonderful wildlife.

Highland cow experiences, tours, and activities for over 16s

An important part of our conservation work is educating people about endangered species and what we can do to protect them.

With our immersive, fun, and educational experiences, you will have a rare chance to get up close to our cows and goats, experiencing the wellness benefits of being near them.

All our activities are designed to give you an understanding of the animals and learn more about our farming and conservation projects. Due to the nature of these activities, they are only suitable for adults.

Book Your Event

As the tours and experiences must fit around the demands of running a working farm, we add new dates a month ahead. Please check the calendar and book your experience using the form.

Visits to the farm are by appointment only and everyone must have a ticket. We can not accommodate spectators.

To give you the best experience, we only have small groups at a time which means places are limited and in demand, with tickets selling out very quickly.

Children-friendly safaris

We understand that younger children also want to enjoy a day out at the farm so we also offer child-friendly safaris.
Whilst our cow experiences are for over 16s only, our cow safaris let younger children learn about the cows, feed and stroke them from the safety of a trailer while enjoying the beautiful countryside. Fun for all the family.

Gifts and merchandise

Who can resist a Highland cow? Their distinctive look, big eyes and gentle nature make them hugely popular. Whether you want to take home a memento of your visit or are looking for a gift for a loved one, we have a wide range of ideas in our gift shop.

Goods are available to collect or via mail order.
