Greeting readers! I appreciate that it has been a very long time since I chatted to you. So ‘why now?’ you may ask. Well I won’t lie to you; I want a bit of sympathy!
I noticed a few days ago that I felt a bit wheezy and had a little bit of a cough also. To start with I thought I could just ignore it and it might go away, but then I decided it might be safer to tell the farmers, plus if I look a bit poorly it might get me more snacks. I kept a watch out for when they came to the field to check on my Highland cow friends and me.

As soon as I saw the car I bounced over to say hello and let them know I wasn’t feeling my best. When farmer Will wound down his window to feed me some snacks (in case my wonderful Highland cow sponsors are worrying, and I am sure you are, I am not too ill to eat snacks!), I gave a little cough and did some dramatic heavy breathing.

cough cough!
It did the trick, the farmers were soon talking about ‘treatments’ I wondered if that meant lots of snacks?
It wasn’t long before Farmer Will and Farmer Fi were back. Result! I got a bowl of snacks, but then when I was munching away they poured something cold on my back, brrr! That was sneaky, but I suppose that was some sort of medicine.

The next day I didn’t feel much better; it was time to do some heavy breathing through the window again 🙁
This time the farmers said they would take me home for special care.
That didn’t sound too bad; I am very special aren’t I?

It is quite a long way back from the conservation area to the farm, but farmer Will led the way with a bucket of snacks, plus my lovely best friend Wendy said she would come with me to keep me company.
Back at the farm, I went into the special area, this is where us cows go when the farmers need to give us a good check over.
First things first, I got snacks 🙂 This is great special treatment 🙂

What is Farmer Will doing now? This isn’t looking quite so good 🙁
O my goodness, I will save you the gory details but I had 5 injections, it’s a good job I am a very brave Chip. Of course I had to make a little bit of fuss, wouldn’t want to risk not getting more snacks to reward my bravery.

You can see how keen I was looking to get back outside and get full sympathy from Wendy, she is so caring, I am sure she could sense my pain.
I am hoping I will be better before the Highland cow safaris start. What would the farmers do without me, their star attraction!

In the mean time of course, I welcome any amount of sympathy messages (cough, cough), gifts of snacks etc.
Until next time!
Love Chip
Big hugs hope feel better soon chip
